Tim Godfrey – An internationally acclaimed Gospel Artist, Tim Godfrey is known for his high-energy performances and deep, soul-stirring worship. He is the visionary behind the annual Fearless Gospel Concert, which has hosted Gospel legends such as Marvin Sapp, Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Israel Houghton, and JJ Hairston. Tim Godfrey’s music is filled with faith and gratitude, as seen in hit songs like “Nara” (featuring Travis Greene), “Toya” (featuring Israel Houghton), and “Onaga” (with JJ Hairston).

Musical Direction & Boston Mega Praise Choir 2025

Marco Marcel – The Boston Mega Praise Choir 2025 will be under the musical direction of Marco Marcel, a gifted bassist, arranger, and creative artist. Raised in North Carolina, Marco was a musical child who was classically trained on the cello at age 8, sang in church choirs, and picked up the bass at 16 while playing in church. Shaped by live performance, he crafts music that connects and moves people.

As a Berklee College of Music alumnus, Marco is known for his electrifying live performances and unwavering work ethic. With purpose and passion in every note, he brings an unforgettable energy to every event he directs. His leadership will make the Boston Mega Praise Choir 2025 a powerful force in this year’s concert.

Gordon Conwell’s East Asian Christianity Conference

In recent decades, Christianity has witnessed meaningful expansion across East Asia, thoughtfully navigating persecution, cultural integration, and interreligious dialogue. The East Asian Christianity Conference aims to harness these experiences, offering a platform for comparative research and practical application in church ministry and mission.

Through this collaborative endeavor, prominent scholars from the East and West, church leaders, and front-line missionaries along with students and faculty from the Boston Theological Interreligious Consortium (BTI), will engage in critical discussions about Christianity’s place and promise in East Asia. The reimagination of Christian outreach and leadership will be informed by both academic research and practical ministry experiences. The conference will also include times of corporate worship and prayer.

The Gordon-Conwell East Asian Christianity Conference is sponsored by the Dao Feng & Angela Foundation and is pleased to partner with BTI, IMEC, and the Orlando Costas Consultation.

German Christmas Service

Hi everyone,
In two weeks we are celebrating Christmas, and Faith Lutheran Church in Cambridge will once again hold our annual Christmas service in German!
Since our own building sadly burned down a year and a half ago we cannot worship there yet, but one of our sister congregations, the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Woburn, generously offered us their building this year, so we will meet at 60 Forest Park Road in Woburn, MA, at 3:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve for our family service in German.
You are all invited to celebrate this service with us, and please also invite anyone you know who is from the German-speaking parts of the world, would like to practice their German, or is simply interested in German-language traditions! There is plenty of parking and seating, the building is wheelchair/stroller accessible, and the service is child-friendly and will take about an hour, so we will be done with plenty of time until dinner.
