Vulnerability & Cruciformity: A Resurrection Retreat

We live in a hurried, polarized, and fearful time. Our natural instinct is to react with hardness, protection, and isolation. Yet, both modern psychology and sound Christian theology beckon us to do the opposite: live life with arms wide open. As Brené Brown would say, “Live vulnerably.” Let your life be cruciform: taking the very shape of Jesus’ own life and even his cross and resurrection.

Join Dr. Elizabeth Woodard, Ph.D., Catholic theologian and spiritual director, for a post-Easter Day Apart retreat that will focus on how to live with open hearts during a time such as this. We will investigate vulnerability as it is presented in the work of psychological researcher Dr. Brene Brown, and we will investigate cruciformity as it is presented in the Christian theological tradition. These two, very different scholastic approaches seem to call us to quite similar ends.

Discover the joy of the Easter season at Rolling Ridge.

Prophetic Leadership Principles

Greater Boston, this is a season for depth.
SPL1000: Prophetic Principles is the gateway course of the School of Prophetic Leadership — designed for believers who sense a call to hear clearly, discern biblically, and lead with integrity. In a time when voices are loud and clarity is rare, this course grounds you in Scripture, spiritual formation, and tested prophetic foundations.
This is not hype. This is formation.
Over this journey, you’ll explore how revelation, interpretation, and application work together. You’ll grow in discernment before declaration, character before commissioning, and structure before expansion. Whether you serve in church, marketplace, intercession, or culture, SPL1000 strengthens your spiritual depth and leadership maturity.
If you’re called to speak, lead, or build — but want to be rooted first — this is your next step.
Registration is open. Join us and build on foundations that last.
