common cathedral’s 30th Anniversary of Ministry

Join our friends at common cathedral as they celebrate 30 years of love, faith, and community in Boston!

Since 1996, Common Cathedral has walked alongside Boston’s unhoused and housing-insecure neighbors through a ministry rooted in mutuality, trust, spiritual presence, and faithful relationship. Their street ministry meets people where they are—on sidewalks, in parks, libraries, and other public spaces—building relationships that lead to deeper life and community.

The 30th Anniversary Celebration will take place Wednesday, September 16, from 4:00–7:00 PM at Emmanuel Church, 15 Newbury Street in Boston. This milestone is both a celebration of three decades of ministry and an investment in the years ahead: funds raised through the anniversary celebration will be dedicated to sustaining common cathedral’s street ministry.

Come celebrate 30 years of faithful presence, loving community, and ministry on the streets of Boston—and help strengthen this important work for the future.

Wednesday, September 16 | 4–7 PM
Emmanuel Church | 15 Newbury Street, Boston

Sound of Worship

EDEN: A Live Recording worship experience

Join us for EDEN, an extended time of pure, uninterrupted worship hosted by Sound of Worship.

Our mission is to raise altars of worship to the ends of the earth. EDEN is one of those altars. A sacred space where we gather with one purpose alone: to worship Jesus.

This is an invitation to come and bask in the presence of God. Free from distractions, free from noise, free from performance. Just hearts fully surrendered, gathering to raise a sound of worship.

As we spend extended time in worship, a live recording will also be taking place, preserving moments that will bless lives far beyond this event.

So Join us! There’s a seat just for you!

Reflecting and Reimagining: An Evening of Storytelling, Story-listening & Cultivating Our Prophetic Imagination

Whether you are a long time friend of BFJN, have been with us on our year-long journey with housing justice or are new to us and this work, this evening is for you. We’ll hear powerful stories, share what we’ve learned, and explore how our faith calls us to confront injustice and build a world where everyone can thrive.

This event also serves as a critical fundraiser to sustain our work and ensure we can continue to serve vulnerable communities in meaningful ways and call and equip Christians to serve, learn and advocate in pursuit of a more just world. Your presence and contribution will help us continue and expand this vital mission.  We look forward to sharing this time of reflection and reimagination with you!
