Poverty 101 Workshop

Join us for an engaging, interactive, and insightful workshop equipping participants to better love

and serve through relational poverty alleviation. It will provide tools that will help each of us find the

best ways to engage with the people God puts in our path.

In this fun, engaging and sometimes uncomfortable workshop, we will:

1. Learn to distinguish material and relational poverty.
2. Increase our self understanding of class, our assets and how they impact our view of self and others.
3.  Review a biblical basis for mutual brokenness.
4.  Evaluate the difference between helpful and toxic charity.

October 4, 8:45-3:30 in the loft at Highrock Church, 14 Mill Street, Arlington.

There is no charge for this event which includes breakfast and lunch catered by Neighbor2Neighbor Ministries entrepreneurial partners.

Contact Joe Marcucci for more information:  joem@neighbor2neighborma.org

Renaissance Interest Call

Curious about microchurches and creating alternative expressions of the church? Want to know more about joining God in the work in your neighborhood?

We have an Interest Call (via Zoom) coming up on August 20th at 7:30 PM. On it, you’ll discover Renaissance, hear about how we empower ordinary people, meet our team, and learn more about the work happening across the Greater Boston area (and beyond). Better yet, we’ll walk you through some of our learning communities launching this fall. This is open to anyone.

Workplace Writing In Christian perspective and practice

Doing all our work with excellence means every email, memo, business letter, presentation, and even every social media post should be written with excellence.

But writing is hard. It’s even harder when employees receive little or no instruction on workplace writing.

This workshop is here to help. We will bridge theoretical and practical concerns about faith, writing, and the workplace.
