Boston Citywide Alpha – Training Day

We want to invite the entire city to join a conversation about life, faith, and Jesus.
 
Join leaders from all across the city for a time of connection, equipping and mobilization as we prepare for a unified Alpha launch in Boston and the surrounding area this fall. This growing movement of churches, organizations and individuals will be coming together to train, pray, promote, invite, launch and finally come together for a united Alpha day away.
This gathering is perfect for leaders who have never run Alpha, as well as those who have been running Alpha for years!
Bring your team members to connect with the wider church, learn more about the fall launch, and hear tips from a variety of pastors and practitioners.  We’ll end the day praying together for the Lord to empower and lead our efforts.

NJEBC: Kingdom Queen’s 5K Run/Walk

Join Kingdom Queens / New Jerusalem Evangelical Baptist Church youth for our first 5K Run/Walk, a joyful and energizing event where women and supporters unite in community, faith, and fun. Whether you are a seasoned runner or want to walk with friends, this event is all about connection, encouragement, and making an impact. All are welcome to participate!

Why We Run
We believe in lifting each other up, and that includes our neighbors. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to support immigrant families in need within our local community.

This is a catalytic gathering in the spirit of John 17 Unity to reconcile the church around the table of the Lord and in preparation for an incredible move of God. The diverse streams in the Body of Christ must flow together as one river for the glory of Jesus Christ and for the advancement of His kingdom in our land.

Apostle Grace Lubega from Phaneroo ministries in Uganda will be our key note speaker bringing a timely word and impartation to the Church of New England!

This week we have two significant meetings over six days.

The first meeting is the Revival Gospel Awakening meeting at the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common. The event will take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It is a prayer meeting for revival in Boston that transcends denominational and racial boundaries. If you would like to attend, please contact Pastor Margaret Mukabi. She leads the ministry of 21st Century Global Awakening Ministries International. If you would like to attend, I will also be happy to help you.

The second meeting is the Body United meeting. Pastor Josiah Armstrong has been preparing for this meeting for a considerable amount of time. It is an open-air tent that can accommodate up to 2,000 people. It will be held from Saturday through Monday. On Sunday at 3:00 PM, a panel discussion will take place featuring leaders from New England who will share their insights on revival. Grace Lugabe will be speaking at the three-day meeting. The theme for this year’s event is Radiance based on Psalm 36:9: “For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” This will be a celebration highlighting some of the ways we’ve seen God’s radiance illuminate our city.
