Career Opportunities at EGC – Deadline June 14

The Emmanuel Gospel Center (EGC) supports Christian leaders to learn collaboratively for the purpose of action taking and to tell the story of what God is doing among us. Our methodology combines best practice tools from social science, data analytics, community development, and planning and systems thinking, and integrates them with spiritual diagnostic tools and disciplines.

Driven by applied research, our projects are designed to foster more and better connections among Christian leaders, and for EGC and our partners to gain a more data-grounded grasp of the needs and resources of Boston communities and churches. We are committed to just, equitable and transparent research design practices that center constituent voice in all stages from design to interpretation.

We are looking to hire two full time positions:

Director of Internal Systems, who will oversee the development of leaders and systems in operations, communications, development and culture; and

Managing Editor, who will help shape, create and provide editorial oversight to EGC’s research, communications and storytelling content.

Social Media Revivalists

Hey Boston! This week a new show called “Social Media Revivalists” was released on YouTube and all podcast streaming services. There is a movement of God happening and this show shares stories of how Christians online are bringing real world revival. Check it out today to hear what’s going on and how we can all take part in the new wave of revival online.

In Episode 1, Henrik Hoeldtke shares his story and incredible journey of seeing God use him through tiktok to share the gospel and see people be CHANGED.

Summer Prophetic Courses: Online

PureSpring Institute (PSI) is now offering Ten-Week Online Summer Courses! Through the School of Prophetic Leadership these intensive online sessions will address the critical disciplines prophetic leaders must develop and the specific challenges prophetic leaders face in a changing world. Also, featured this summer is our Prophetic Mastery Level I & II Certification Program. Register for an online course in conjunction with individualized coaching and receive PM Certification. PSI’s School of Prophetic Leadership is a specialized discipleship program based in New England for training prophetic ministers to engage ministry locally and globally.

Converge Partnership Launch Week!

Support the life-changing work of refugee leaders!

1) Join our virtual gathering on Tuesday, December 3rd, from 9-9:30am to learn about the Converge Partnership with the Intercultural Ministries of Emmanuel Gospel Center (EGC) and Universal Human Rights International, leveraging the skills of our diverse community with refugee leadership at the forefront of refugee work.

2) Register to attend our fundraiser dinner on Thursday, December 5 from 6-8 pm to hear from refugees about how they are taking initiative to support their communities.

3) Mark your calendars to donate on Giving Tuesday. Thrivent Financial Services will match $1 for every $2 donation to the partnership made on Giving Tuesday!

Fundraiser to Celebrate Refugee Innovators

Universal Human Rights International and Emmanuel Gospel Center are proud to sponsor the new Refugee Innovation Fund. We believe that when we stand behind refugee leadership, both the refugee community and the city of Boston become stronger and more vibrant. Join us on June 20th at the Reservoir Church in Cambridge to hear from a panel of refugee innovators and enjoy cuisine from Iraq and Liberia. We hope to see you there!
