Freedom Concert 2022!

This event will take place Saturday, April 9th, 6:45 pm at Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Cambridge.
This is a night of worship, live music, a survivor’s time to share her story, and fellowship. This is a fundraiser for Route One Ministry, a local anti-trafficking non-profit. We serve Jesus by serving women sexually exploited and equipping the church. In the past, the Freedom Concert has been essential to impact more than 200 people with the awareness of trafficking in the United States, introduce attendees to the work of Route One, equip leaders to take action and provide a beautiful platform for a survivor to share her story.
Hope to see you and your friends there!

Refining Fire – EGC Virtual Concert and Fundraiser

The Emmanuel Gospel Center Fundraiser will be an online concert and fundraiser event, shown via an hour-long video production. This will consist of music videos, EGC program content, and other voices from the city. The theme for this year is Refining Fire. The inspiration behind this theme is to recognize that the past year has been filled with trials and tribulations, and we all have been affected both as a community and in our personal lives. Our hope is that these difficulties would not break us down but would refine and strengthen us. The online event, of course, is free to watch, but this will still be EGC’s annual fundraiser.

This extraordinary fundraising event includes some of Boston’s top designers and models. AND it is our biggest fundraiser of the year! There will be great food, wine, fantastic entertainment and this year, we are thrilled to welcome our special guest singer/actor Nik Walker, currently starring as Aaron Burr in the touring company of the hit Broadway musical ‘Hamilton.’

It promises to be a big night, bringing together people of faith, people of fashion and a variety of others from all over the Boston area who are committed to love, healing, and social justice.

Please mark the date and share this notice with your personal list of friends & family!

Single Release Concert & Poetry Night at Charles Street AME

Greetings,

I am writing to invite you to a Single Release Concert and Poetry Night at Charles Street AME in Dorchester on June 14th at 7 pm.

I have been in the United Kingdom for the past 4 years at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland where I recently completed my PhD program.

My PhD graduation is on July 10th back in the UK which I will be attending. However, I don’t want to go alone.  I want to return with my family (four of us). Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to purchase four flight tickets and pay for  hotel accommodation for the brief time in the UK.  So, I decided to release a single I have been working on at a concert and poetry night. Attached is the flyer.

I will also be singing from my previous two gospel albums, reading from my upcoming book on Poetic Expressions as well as commenting on social and penal issues from my book: Locked Up and Locked Down: Multitude Lingers in Limbo Revised Edition. Below is the Eventbrite link for more details. Thanks for your support.

Pentecostal Tabernacle’s Honduras Benefit Concert

Join us for an evening of music as we celebrate God’s love for the world at our Honduras Benefit Concert! For the past six years, Pentecostal Tabernacle has partnered with World Resources Group (WRG), to send a missions team to Honduras to work with mentors who have devoted their lives to serving the youth in their communities. These trips have given us the opportunity to build relationships with the children, their families, and the dedicated Honduran mentors who serve them. This year, our missions team will depart for Honduras on July 28th, and proceeds from the concert will benefit their trip. Tickets are $10, and you must purchase one to attend this event.

Date: Saturday, May 4th 2019

Location: Pentecostal Tabernacle North Campus – 77 Columbia Street, Cambridge MA 02139

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Featured Artists: Nicole Schmidt, 7th Degree, Kamva, Caleb McCoy

Tickets: Purchased online at www.ptspice.org
