Church Leader ICE Guidance Training

 Church leaders can prepare now for the possibility of ICE incursions into our sacred spaces. Governor Healy released new statewide guidance for Houses of Worship.  Church leaders should also report any misconduct by federal agents at mass.gov/fedmisconduct.

The Massachusetts Council of Churches will host Governor Healey’s Office of Refugees and Immigrants to explain new statewide protocals for interactions with ICE.

Journey To Greatness Celebration

The Boston Higher Education Resource Center invites you to support and celebrate the success of first generation students of color at our Annual Journey to Greatness Celebration.  More than ever, this year’s fundraiser is critical to ensuring we can continue to provide programming to support students from 7th grade through college. This once a year evening brings together our students and alumni, supporters, advocates, volunteers and members of the community in the common goal of telling our Black, Latino and immigrant students that we stand behind them. The majority of the Boston HERC’s students are immigrants or come from immigrant families, and especially now, they need to know that there are people who are cheering them on to their dreams of a better future.
