Singles Christian Ministry – Boston Area

Meet Christian Singles from all over the Boston area at 1) in-person dinners or 2) facilitated video calls from the convenience of your home.

“I prefer ‘in-person events”, says Rebekah who founded www.SingleSocials.com in St. Louis in 2014, “but with the 2020 hectic lifestyle of so many in Boston, the parking, and the traffic, I wanted to offer video conferencing introductions as well.”

The ministry www.SingleSocials.com started when Rebekah was working alongside Christian singles at her church and watching them care so well for the body of Christ and hearing them talk about how hard it was to be able to meet and date other Christians. Her passion to help today is the same as it was then but she also has the knowledge she has gained since 2014.

Rebekah is a Boston area mom of three awesome kids and is happily married to her husband of 18 years who shares her passion to help others.

Singing the Songs of Jesus: Learning to pray the Psalms in Christ

Our guest speak for our 2019 Fall Conference is Christopher Ash. Join us for this 2 day event as we take a deeper look into the Psalms. We will meet Saturday from 9am-3pm (lunch and childcare for under age 6 provided) and Sunday from 9:15am-noon.

Christopher Ash is Writer-in-Residence at Tyndale House in Cambridge, England. He is a full-time preacher, teacher, and writer. After working in the telecommunications industry and as a teacher of math, Christopher studied theology at Oxford. He was ordained and served as an Assistant Pastor in St.Andrew the Great Church in Cambridge, before leading a church plant to a nearby village, in 1997. In 2004 he and Carolyn moved to central London where Christopher served as Director of the Proclamation Trust’s Cornhill Training Course, training preachers and bible teachers, until July 2015.
Christopher’s wife Carolyn serves on the Board of London City Mission. She and Christopher have been entrusted with three sons and a daughter (all now grown up) and six grandchildren. They belong to St.Andrew the Great church, where Christopher is part of the preaching team.
Christopher has written various books, including Bible Delight (on Psalm 119), Teaching Psalms volumes 1 and 2, Job: the wisdom of the Cross, and The Book your Pastor really wishes you would read (but is too embarrassed to ask). His main research project is directed towards writing a three-volume commentary on the Psalms, with a focus on how we pray them in Christ.

Being Part of Something Greater – Sage’s Story of Finding Faith in Jesus

“It all changed when I felt God. It wasn’t anymore just to be at church to be at church. It was be at church because you wanted to be there, to be around people who talk about and love God… I want to be baptized because it’s being part of a greater thing than just life. It’s filling yourself with love and hope and faith. It’s just wonderful.”

-Sage Kerstetter

Rebekah Kerstetter is one of our UniteBoston Neighborhood Dinner Coordinators in the Medford area. At our neighborhood dinner this past week, she shared about her daughter Sage choosing to be baptized at Highrock Covenant Church this past Easter. Watch the video below to hear about the transformation that happened in Sage’s life as she committed to follow God. Let’s continue to pray for the next generation of youth in our churches and communities to have life-changing encounters with Jesus!
