Now Hiring: Summer Staff Positions Working with Youth

We’re looking for six passionate and committed individuals to join us this summer!

Do you care deeply about young people and want to make a lasting impact? Boston Project Ministries is a Christian community development organization in Dorchester that serves 60–80 youth each day during the summer.

We’re inviting you to invest 10 weeks of your summer to help shape the lives of young people through mentoring, leadership development, and community engagement.

Our work is grounded in a holistic approach that nurtures the physical, mental, spiritual, and relational well-being of each youth.

Open Summer Staff Positions

We’re currently hiring for six key roles to support our vibrant youth programs this summer:

  • Elmhurst Park Program Coordinators (2 positions)

  • Middle School Programs – Brotherhood & Sisterhood Coordinators (2 positions)
Lead and mentor middle school students in our leadership development programs focused on identity, faith, and community building.

  • Communications Coordinator (1 position)
Use your creativity to capture and share the stories of our summer through photography, videography, and social media content.

  • Summer Youth Program Manager (1 position)
Support program coordinators in planning and evaluation, provide spiritual and leadership development for staff, and walk alongside youth and families throughout the summer.

Compensation: Coordinators positions $20.00-$22.50 per hour, Manager position $24.00-$27.50 per hour.

Hours: Monday through Friday; 8:30 AM-5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily. Occasional evenings. The Big Event (Closing Summer Program) is Tuesday evening, August 12, 2025.

Dates: June 9, 2025 – August 15, 2025 (10 weeks; 7 weeks of programming).

Codman Square Can We Talk? is a trauma support program that offers a safe space for people to share their stories of loss, trauma, healing, and hope. This is also a space for listening, which is a way for offering support. This program is modeled after the Can We Talk? of the Cory Johnson Program for Post-Traumatic Healing.

This is made possible by a collaboration of Churches, community faith-based organizations, and neighbors from the Codman Square community.
