“All Heaven Broke Loose” Auditions

All Heaven Broke Loose, a play with Still Small Theatre, tells the story of Jesus’ death and Resurrection, from Gethsemane to Pentecost, through the eyes of dozens of witnesses —  including many who are often overlooked, such as Joanna, Caiaphas, Pilate, and Joseph of Arimathea. It digs into the echoes of the Messiah that permeate the Old Testament, and inhabits the first-century Jewish (and international) context of the story. Auditions are April 8th and 13th, and anyone from age 13 up is welcome to audition! Full details are on our website.

Our rehearsal process includes both actor exercises and spiritual exercises — our participants routinely report the experience as one of the most profound events in their spiritual lives, but we don’t require that you be a Christian to participate!

Embody: Follow. Seek. Take. – A Conference for the Church in the City

Embody is a week of community happenings about incarnating the Presence of Jesus in the City.

From 39 stories of the hope across 13 Boston neighborhoods featured at the Hope Rising Gallery Event (APR 17–18) on Boston Common, to stories told throughout the week by more than 40 individuals from Park Street Church and surrounding churches, you will get a fuller picture of God’s love for our city and his kingdom work through his people. Listen to and learn from a diverse array of church leaders, professionals, students, volunteers, and others who are embodying the presence of Jesus in the city. You will also have an opportunity to preview our “Communities of Missional Practice” studies which will be launching soon after the conference. Keynote teaching from Hugh Halter (Founder of Post Commons and Lantern Network) and Mark Booker (Senior Minister of Park Street Church) will ground the conference in the gospel call to embody the presence of Jesus Christ.

Come join us, a conference for the whole church in the city, as we seek to Follow Jesus, Seek his kingdom, and Take his yolk upon us that we may learn from him and find rest for our souls.
