Hello friends!
I’m Katie, and I’m looking for reduced-cost, first floor (or elevator if multi story) two-bedroom housing for my mother and myself (I’m her caregiver) in the North Shore/Essex County area, ideally Beverly/Danvers/Salem. Our needs would be best met by work-for-rent housing, or something under $1,700.I have experience (and enjoy) landscaping, farming, gardening, caregiving, pet sitting, running errands, and housekeeping. I could provide about 8 hrs of work per week or more depending on the rent required.
I am currently working as a caregiver, working on a farm, taking classes toward a Master’s at Salem State and caring for my mom who is severely disabled. I’m a reliable, friendly and clean tenant and happy to provide references.
We would need enough floor space to store and maneuver multiple pieces of medical lift equipment (hoyer, sit-to stand, wheelchairs). Doorways do not need to be handicap code, 30 in is fine. We have no pets, but enjoy animals.
We’re hoping to find something as soon as possible, as our current lease renewal is coming up at the end of June.
