Summer Volunteer Opportunity with Joni & Friends to serve families affected by disability
New England Family Retreat, Week 3, Aug 16-21, 2026
Location: Hume Christian Camp & Retreat Center, 73 Chestnut Hill Road, Monterey, MA 01245August 17, 2026 – August 21, 2026
If you are a Christ-follower with a heart to bring help and Gospel hope to people with disabilities, you can make a powerful hands-on difference by volunteering with us at a Joni and Friends Family Retreat. As a volunteer at Family Retreat, you will join our team in offering experiences of joy, rest, and belonging in the body of Christ. Whether you serve as a one-on-one buddy, camp nurse, help with crafts, or lead Bible studies or times of worship, you will make a lasting difference in the name of Jesus.
No experience is necessary! Training will be provided before the event begins.
Great opportunity for families or church groups to serve together.
