ARC is the growing Applied Research and Consulting team of Emmanuel Gospel Center. EGC defines “applied research” as learning in community for the purposes of taking action.
ARC@egc is recruiting volunteer researchers for Spring 2016 who:
Are passionate about the impact of Christians on the well-being of the city
Are diligent and mature in their work
Enjoy working with data in a collaborative environment
Researchers have the potential to develop skills in:
Interviewing and data collection
Data coding and analysis
Literature review
Research presentation and communication
Non-profit ministry administration and team building
Research question design
Professional collaboration
Our project managers will do their best to match researchers to desired areas of interest and skill development. The main research streams are:
Church & Community Studies
Gender Justice
Public Health & Wellness
“Unacceptable Statistics”
Youth, Youth Workers & Culture
EGC ministry research – human trafficking, refugees, homelessness, church planting, education, and more.
