City Mission is seeking up to four high school or college students interested in gaining work experience in a small nonprofit committed to social justice. The interns will assist with projects related to our 200th anniversary, public policy research, service learning, communications and general office work. A portion of the internship will include learning activities to foster a deeper understanding of social justice and City Mission’s commitment to catalyzing action to root out poverty in our neighborhoods.

The internship(s) will run for five weeks beginning July 12, 2016 and ending on August 12, 2016. Each intern will receive a stipend of $750.00 (or $150.00 weekly) for 18 hours (6 hours over 3 days) of work. Each 6 hour work day includes a ½ hour break. Interns must all be present on Tuesdays each of the five weeks for group activities and service learning, with the remaining two days to be scheduled at the mutual convenience of the intern and City Mission.

Take as an instance the Chihuahua. Lifestyles expectancy from age 0 is 7.9 years. You may assume therefore that there isn’t always a lot factor in rescuing a six-12 months-antique Chihuahua at a dogs home due to the fact the average age at loss of life for the breed shows you may simplest get to spend much less than two years with it.https://www.dreambloger.com

Internships play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world experience. They allow students to apply classroom learning in professional settings, gain hands-on skills, and build confidence for their future careers. Through platforms like
    Internship Login,
students can easily access internship details, track applications, and stay connected with mentors. This integration of education and practical exposure ensures that learners are well-prepared to meet the demands of the modern workforce.
