Hours: to start, 10-12 hours monthly (Sundays 10:30-12:30; church opens earlier than 10:30 am; Service time: 11 am sharp )
Stipend: $300 monthlyHill Memorial Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a leader of worship for Sunday morning service. This person should be a born-again believer who has a high view of the Holy Bible as well as being an authentic worshipper. Do you fit this description?
If you feel primed to lead/ teach others to worship and can lead traditional hymns and also infuse contemporary Christian songs into the worship time, this could be a solid, ground floor opportunity for you. You will work with the church’s new pastor whose pastoral style nurtures respectful team work and considers others’ insights. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to work with one or two worship leaders from other churches and develop the worship vision for a monthly outreach gathering which the church has hosted in the past and wants to resume, the Community Prayer and Share. We currently have a pianist but we have two pianos. If you play as well as sing, there is a Chickering (studio upright) for you to enjoy. Guitar welcome that also.
