Seeking 1 roommate for 2 bedroom apt in Allston/Brookline (Sept. 1)

Hello!

My name is Sarah and I am looking for one roommate to fill an open room in my 2 bedroom apartment in Allston/Brookline, near Coolidge Corner. The apartment is part of the E3 apartment complex which offers great amenities such as multiple fitness centers, rooftop decks, a patio/grill area, as well as garage or off-street parking available (not included in rent). I am looking for someone with similar living habits / styles, including being fairly neat/organized, willingness to share household chores, and keeping common areas clean. A bit about me: I’m 25 and a nurse at Boston Children’s Hospital. I go to church at Highrock Brookline, about a 6-minute drive away. And last but not least, I have an adorable dog (3 year-old large mixed breed/hound mix) named Nellie who is a total snuggle bug, so someone who is comfortable around dogs is a must. While the apartment complex is pet-friendly, I am looking for someone without pets.

Rent for your room, which is the “master” with a huge walk-in closet, would be $1878/month. Utilities not included, typically ~75/person/month (gas + electric + internet), although cheaper in the wintertime as the apartment rarely requires turning on the heat since it’s on the top floor. You would be signing onto a pre-existing lease with a Sept. 1 start date. Total apartment square footage is 938 sq ft. Apartment is a coveted “corner unit” on the top floor of a 5-story apartment building with large windows and views of the Boston skyline. Other notable features include:

– new apartment building (built 2015) with modern appliances
– central air (heating + A/C)
– dishwasher + garbage disposal
– in-unit laundry
– Trader Joe’s / Whole Foods nearby
– Near Green Lines (B & C)
– on 66 bus route
