It’s time to register to vote!
For first-time voter registration, or re-registration because you have changed your name or address, click here: https://myfaithvotes.turbovote.org/name
You must be 18 years old and a citizen of the U.S. A card will be sent to you confirming that you are registered and telling you where and when to vote. Also, here is some great information so that you can vote informed: https://www.myfaithvotes.org/think/for-voters/
I’d encourage you to please consider the 5 pillars of conservatism:
- Free enterprise
- Limited Government
- Individual Freedom
- Traditional American Values
- Strong National Defense
And visit ‘valuesvotersummit.org ‘ to hear 30 Christian leaders share their faith testimonies and hear their view on current national issues.
Finally, in conjunction with Pulpit Freedom Sunday on October 2, FRC wants to present congressional leadership with the names of tens of thousands of Christians who support repealing the infamous Johnson Amendment.
The Johnson Amendment, passed in 1954, refers to a change in the U.S. tax code prohibiting churches, ministries, and nonprofit organizations from endorsing or opposing political candidates. The left has consistently misapplied the Johnson Amendment to intimidate and silence churches by controlling what pastors preach from the pulpit.
If you have questions or if you’d like to get involved, email me at dorotheaj408@gmail.com Thanks!
