GuestAbout Us
We are 3 women in our late 30’s and mid 40’s. One of us works in full time Christian ministry, one works in biotech, and the other is an administrator for a manufacturing company. Each of us attends churches in the greater Boston area (2 of us at CSC and 1 at CoTC). We are looking for a 4th housemate – a woman who is walking with the Lord, in the 30s/40s age range. Our Vision
While each of us live fairly separate lives, we also seek to intentionally cultivate a rhythm of fellowship, prioritizing a weekly shared meal and prayer time together. We value our home as a place of predictable order and rest. However, the house is also a place where each of us is generally free to host friends for gatherings (small groups, dinners, movie nights, game night, etc.) provided we check-in with housemates. The house is large enough to comfortably host these groups without interfering with the movement and space of anyone who does not wish to attend. The House
The space is a beautiful 4 bedroom/2 bathroom townhouse in East Arlington with a spacious kitchen (that features a large pantry, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and two refrigerators!), a large dining room, two living room areas, two bathrooms, a backyard, a washer and dryer, a 3-season sunroom, a covered front porch, and large storage area in the basement. There are hardwood floors (except for linoleum in the kitchen) and large windows throughout. The whole house has been freshly painted and has the charm of many older, well-kept houses in the area.Room for Rent & Lease Details
The available room is on the second floor and has two large, side-by-side windows; a closet; a high ceiling; and is 13’9″ x 9’6. The lease begins 9/1. Rent is $1,215 per month, plus 1/4 of utilities, typically between $80 and $200 a month, depending on the season. The first month’s rent and a refundable security deposit ($1,215) are due prior to move in. The lease goes through the end of August 2027.Parking
We have two tandem spots in our garage/drive way, one of which is available for your car (if you have one). One of us has an on-street parking permit that is a shared, yearly expense.Location
1) Minuteman Bike Trail is a 5-10 minute walk from our door
2) East Arlington, with The Capitol Theater and various shops/ restaurants, is a 10min walk
3) Arlington Center (various shops, restaurants, coffee shops) is a 15min walk
