Nurturing Relational Connections Across Boston's Christian Community
Home › Forums › Find Specialized Help › Internships in Applied Research at the Emmanuel Gospel Center
The Emmanuel Gospel Center is a non-profit committed to strengthening Christian leaders to serve urban communities. At EGC, “applied research” means learning in community for the purpose of taking action.
Our Applied Research and Consulting Department conducts research within arenas of broad community concern – gender justice, youth work, public health, and neighborhood studies. The research also undergirds specific ministries at EGC, including those that serve people struggling with homelessness, survivors of human trafficking, church planters, refugees, and more.
Interns and Associates have the potential to develop skills in:
Interviewing and data collection
Data coding and analysis
Literature review
Research presentation and communication
Professional collaboration
Research question design
Interns and Associates work part-time (8-20 hours per week) and are unpaid in most circumstances.
Applications accepted on a rolling basis. See the website for more details.
