About Us
We are 3 women in our mid 30s-early 40s. One of us works in full time Christian ministry, one works in biotech, and one works as a company administrator for a startup. All three of us are involved in churches in the Boston area. We are looking for a 4th housemate – a woman who is walking with the Lord, in the 30-45 age range (or the right fit, even if younger or older), and who is excited about enjoying and cultivating the sort of house/community we desire to have.
Our Vision
We are intentional about cultivating regular encouragement and fellowship among us as housemates, prioritizing a weekly shared meal and prayer time together. Our house is also a place where each of us can host things like Bible studies, games nights, movies nights, etc., and where there is plenty of separate space for quiet and more contemplative refreshment as well. The way the house is set up (two living room areas on separate floors; a front and back staircase) allows for something quite social to be happening on the first floor of the house, and for nooks of quietness to remain for roommates who are doing their own thing and desire separateness. We value courtesy, communication, kindness, moments of community/shared joy/encouragement, and room for solitude/quiet, and we divide various chores among us on a rotating basis.The Available Bedroom·

The House· Beautiful 4 bedroom/2 bathroom townhouse· On a quiet residential street in East Arlington.· Large windows and hardwood floors (except for linoleum in kitchen) throughout· Large kitchen (with a new dishwasher, very large pantry, and two refrigerators!)· Large dining room· Two living room areas· Two bathrooms· Covered front porch and front and back yards· Separate, three-season sun room· Clothes washer and dryer for our use only (no coins necessary)· Large storage area in the basementThe whole house has been freshly painted and has the charm of many older, well-kept houses in the area. We are in East Arlington, an easy walk to The Capital Theater, Arlington Center, Spy Pond, and several public transportation options.·
The 77 bus line (into Porter and Harvard Squares) stops one block away, on Mass Ave·
The 87 Bus line, (into Davis Square), stops at the other end of our street (2 minute walk, 8 minute bus ride)·
The Alewife T Station (red line) is a 1.1 mile walk from our front door· Access to the Minuteman Bike Trail is just several blocks away·
Arlington Capitol Theatre, in East Arlington, and all the shops around it, is (.6 miles) from our door· Arlington Center (various shops, restaurants, coffee shops) is a quick walk the other way, (.7 miles) from our door· Stop and Shop is a 10 minute walk from our door·
Spy Pond is a 6 minute walk from our front door and features beautiful sunsets!Rent· $1,125 per month, plus 1/4 of utilities.· First month’s rent ($1,125), a security deposit ($1,125), and a $900 broker’s fee are all due up front = $3,150· The lease goes through the end of August 2025.
