We are a Christian family of four with a 4 year old girl and a 3 month old son. I just started a job in downtown Boston. I work for a non-profit and my income alone cannot sustain us, however my wife cannot work because of our sons medical issues. We are in desperate need of a miracle from God. Have you guys found anything yet? Praying for you… The Crossing in Boston used to have a community house where they hosted folks for free… Might be a short term option. Also, have you posted on the Park St. church housing board? Please keep me posted and I can try to network on your behalf.

JenJen thank you for the suggestions and most of all thank you for the prayers. We have not found anything yet. I will look into your suggestions and keep this post updated.
Almost two months ago I posted a need for me and my family on this forum. Jen replied and gave some wonderful suggestions. I would love to be able to give an update that the need has been met but that is not the case. I started a job in Boston 3 months ago. We were planning to move to Boston sometime soon after I started, however our plans have not been able to happen. We cannot afford anything in or near Boston on just my salary. And my wife is unable to work because our son has some medical issues and cannot be put into a daycare situation. I have been staying with some friends of my in-laws during the week and commuting into Boston each day. My wife and kids, we also have a 4 year old daughter, are living in CT with her parents. I go to CT on the weekends and holidays. It is really hard to be apart from them every week. My daughter cries every time I have to leave to come back to the Boston area during the week.
What we need is a true miracle from God. We are not sure why He called us to this area and we are not sure how He is going to work out our housing situation but we have to trust.
My reason to post our story on here is to ask for your prayers and potentially information on a safe/affordable housing for a family of four. We cannot afford much but maybe you know of something that can work. Many thanks and blessings.
