A service offered at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul (138 Tremont St), for those who have experienced the loss of child, before, during or after birth. This ecumenical service will include lament, remembrance, song, and ritual, with a goal of acknowledging grief, finding comfort in community and faith, and honoring those we've lost. Application Deadline is June 15! Massachusetts Council of Churches will serve Black clergy from across its network through cohorts of preacher-practitioners, regular podcasts, a “Preachers-in-Residence” program, peer-to-peer support, and an annual preaching symposium called “Sound the Trumpet in Zion.” They will prioritize Black preacher mental health and engage in a pilgrimage to the African Meeting House on Nantucket, an icon of local resilient Black preaching.
