About the Forum

Diverse leadership teams from key New England cities will gather for a one-day forum on February 15, prior to Vision New England’s Go Conference (February 16 and 17 in Springfield, MA). This is the third New England City Forum. Last year’s forum in Worcester had 103 participants from over 19 New England Cities.

Our objective is to discover what God is doing in New England cities, to learn from one another, and to discern how we can best cooperate with God’s work in the city we serve.

Schedule:
8:00am Coffee and Snacks
9:00am Forum Begins
* Free lunch is served
4:30pm Forum Concludes
Note: The forum is free to attend with ample parking

Program Elements

Presentations from New England cities which include how God is at work, current challenges and opportunities, as well as key learnings
Emphasis on (and plenty of time for) dialogue with your city team
Developing inter-city and intra-city relationships

Who should come to the Forum

The New England City Forum is designed for participation of diverse teams of 8 – 10 leaders from New England cities. You will sit with your city team, hear presentations from other cities, and process what you hear with your team. Experience from last year’s New England City Forum in Worcester, and from similar forums nationally, shows that each city has a unique perspective and approach, but also that we have a lot in common and a lot to learn from each other. The forum will emphasize mutual learning and application to your city. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn with city leaders and deepen relationships in your city!

Why on February 15 and in Springfield, MA?

We chose February 15 in Springfield to connect with Vision New England’s GO Conference. GO is focused on inspiring, equipping, and uniting the body of Christ in our region behind the challenge found in Micah 6:8. What does it look like to Do Justice, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly? Doing justice and loving mercy require action on behalf of the innocent and the guilty. Walking humbly and making disciples are inseparable. Engaging communities, our region, and our world requires our combined efforts rooted in love and humility.
