Shakespeare Auditions
Come be part of one of Shakespeare’s most thought-provoking plays!
Still Small Theatre will be producing Measure for Measure, Shakespeare’s bold exploration of the interplay of justice and mercy, and the ways in which sin and abuse thrives when our godly masks go unquestioned. The play goes up in May and will be used to raise awareness about domestic violence.
Auditions: Wed & Thurs, Jan 25 & 26; Auditioners are asked to sign up for a 10 minute slot between 7 and 9 pm.
Location: Pilgrim Church, 300 Cabot St. Beverly
Please prepare a 2-minute verse or comic monologue from an Elizabethan or Jacobean play that is not Measure for Measure. You may prepare one of each if you wish, and you may be asked to cold read a side.
