Join us for a morning of prayer, devotions, and sharing. We’ll have large group discussion and reflections, and will break into smaller groups for each person to share about challenges affecting their business in order to receive and give advice.

This month, we’ll hear from Devin Marks, founder of MyTedTalk.  For more than two decades, his career has benefited from a distinct blend of message shaping and event staging in the advocacy, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. In recent years, he has dovetailed that background with the vibrant TED Talk movement and its “ideas worth spreading.” Visit Devin’s LinkedIn profile, to learn more.

Devin will share about how his relationship with God led him to start this business and the ways in which God is working in and through MyTedTalk.  He’ll talk more specifically about the questions some of you have asked about ways to finance early-stage businesses and how to use marketing to expand your customer base.

Event FAQs

Is there a cost to attend on Saturday November 17th?

No. The event is free, but donations are welcome to cover the cost of the event.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The office is at 584 Columbia Road (Columbia and Dudley St in Uphams Corner, Dorchester). You’ll see balloons outside.

Public parking is available in the parking lot behind CVS (778 Dudley Street) between Belden Street and Ramsey Street.
