Still Small Theatre returns with one of Shakespeare’s boldest plays.

Still Small Theatre is a Christian ministry that produces high quality theater that helps people hear and see the heart of God.

Measure for Measure tells the story of a duke struggling to restore justice to a broken society, a strict judge encountering his own depravity, and a novice nun pleading for the life of her incarcerated brother. Along the way it asks challenging questions about justice, mercy, power, and why we frequently leave appearances unquestioned.

Because of these and other themes, we are partnering with local agencies to raise awareness and funds to combat domestic violence. Feel free to join us afterwards for an informal discussion with the cast about Shakespeare, violence, faith, or whatever the play brings to mind. Information will also be available from local agencies about their services and volunteer opportunities, and resources will also be available regarding how to respond as a faith community.

Admission is “pay what you can” with a suggested donation range of $12-18 general admission and $5-7 student/senior. Donations will support the work of Still Small as well as that of local domestic violence agencies.
