Nurturing Relational Connections Across Boston's Christian Community
This event invites you to engage in a journey of truth-telling, healing, and justice, connecting our narratives to Boston’s local history. Recognizing that many other leaders are engaged in similar work within their institutions, we’ll also open a dialogue on how we might strengthen the collective movement toward racial equity, justice and repair in our city.
This gathering will take place at the Historic Myrtle Baptist Church, a hub for social justice and civil rights advocacy and a cornerstone of Newton’s African American community. You are welcome to come early to explore the physical displays where they have catalogued their history.
Sankofa, a Ghanaian term meaning “to learn from the past to inform the future,” inspires this journey. Come listen, share, and be part of this meaningful conversation and action-taking at this influential moment in our city and country.
