Nurturing Relational Connections Across Boston's Christian Community
35 “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.” Matthew 25:35-36
Jesus calls us to show the love of God to everyone, especially to the most vulnerable of our society, the ones He calls “the least of these.” Because they are the most marginalized, the most powerless, and the most unseen among us, they are often overlooked, exploited, and given blame for the difficulties of our society.
On April 27, 2025, Jesus and Justice Sunday, we are asking Clergy across greater Boston to do as Jesus commands and preach messages of Hope and Compassion, Mercy and Justice for the members of our communities who are suffering and are being labeled as targets.
Will you preach –from an Old or New Testament passage— a message of Biblical Social Justice for the least of these our brothers and sisters? We hope so. We hope that you will join us in fulfilling that Second and Great Commandment, to love our neighbors as ourselves.
