Healing Hearts Club Camp (Children’s Healing Trauma)
August 21, 2023 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
An event every day that begins at 8:30 am, repeating until August 26, 2023
While trauma as a mental health diagnosis has obviously existed for a long time, it is now being talked about much more frequently as one of the major outcomes of the pandemic that needs to be addressed. And often we don’t even identify our grief, pain and loss as trauma – we just know that we are struggling with it’s impact on our lives. And grief, loss and trauma impact children, as well as adults. They often just don’t have the words to express their experiences.
Victory Generation, a program of Black Ministerial Alliance Ten Point, in partnership with Boston Trauma Healing Collaborative, Vision New England and the Trauma Healing Institute/American Bible Society will be offering a Healing Hearts Club Camp August 21 – August 25, 2023. Hosted at the Second Church in Dorchester, 44 Moultrie Street.
