Hosted by Abundant Life Church, this evening celebrates the Black church as a cornerstone of spiritual life, community building, and artistic expression. Past, present, and future.

Inspired by John 3:30 — “He must increase, and I must decrease” This gallery explores worship as an act of surrender, a movement that transcends choreography and enters the sacred dialogue between body and spirit. In the Black church, praise is not only sung but embodied: loud and intimate, erratic yet fluid, vulnerable yet unrestrained.

Through photography and performance, He Increase, I Decrease captures the fleeting, ineffable expressions of faith where the body becomes both vessel and instrument, yielding wholly to the presence of God.
