Dean’s Forum: Humility as a Christian Identity-Marker

September 17 from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Free

If Christians would wholeheartedly embrace humility, our witness in the world can be radically improved. Humility is often misunderstood, overlooked, or even disparaged. Such is the case today and was also true in the early days of the Jesus movement. However, humility is part of Christ’s self-description (Matthew 11:29) and ought to be an identifier of his followers. Let’s recover Scripture’s presentation of humility, dispel some myths about it, and accept the invitation to live humbly.

The Dean’s Forum discussion is free and is open to the public. No RSVP required for those joining online.

Registration is only required for those planning to attend in person at Gordon-Conwell—Hamilton. Lunch will be provided for those attending in person.

Registration closes on Wednesday, September 9

The Dean’s Forum is hosted by the Academic Dean’s office. The event will take place in Alumni Hall in Kerr Building at the Hamilton campus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. It will be streamed live through Facebook and at www.gcts.edu/live.
