The Order of St. Martin de Porres, on behalf of the Diocese of Christ the King, takes immense pleasure in inviting you all and Unite Boston to attend the Commissioning Service of the Order of St. Martin de Porres. The Order of St. Martin de Porres will be a community that embraces the rule of life rooted in spiritual disciplines and services from St. Martin de Porres to build awareness, solutions, and leadership for interracial harmony and social justice within the city of Boston, by engaging in the daily life of the community, offering transformative ideas, and engaging in progressive experiences. We aim to improve our communities by enacting social change through research, training, support, community mobilization, and preaching with words when necessary but always through our lives.

This is one of the evening fellowship gatherings during UniteBoston’s Week of Prayer for Christian Unity: www.uniteboston.com/wpcu. Our event will take place in the Emmanuel Gospel Center located at 2 San Juan St, Boston, MA 02118 on January 19th, 2017. The inauguration will begin sharp at 6pm. We aim to have a dinner afterwards which will be coordinated by the Villa Victoria community in South End. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas as we also anticipate to share ours.
