Worship is the heartbeat of the local church, and as a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church, our worship helps people of all ages grow in our relationship with God and is the foundation from which we are sent into service and discipleship.The TCC Worship Intern works closely with the Director of Worship and Community Life to cultivate vibrant worship across all ages on Sunday mornings. This is a training position where young worship leaders can cultivate their musical, pastoral, and leadership gifts with many opportunities to grow.
The intern would work primarily with our student ministry band (3 Sundays/month) and occasionally with our Adult worship team (1 Sunday/month).
Responsibilities:
• Lead music during the Student Ministry Worship Service by selecting songs, organizing band members, and leading the rehearsal and musical worship. Will work closely with Pastor of Students to coordinate Student worship services. [3 Sundays per month]
• Work alongside Director of Worship to support the Sanctuary (adult) worship services [1 Sunday per month]. Opportunities to lead worship once every other month.Candidate Profile:
• Proficiency on guitar or piano, and strong vocals to lead congregational singing
• Able to direct and lead a team of volunteers
• Willingness to learn and grow as a leader, musician, and as a disciple of Jesus.About TCC:

Compensation: Stipend of $500/month.
