Greetings Everyone,
My name is Jennifer Manzanillo I was born and raised in Massachusetts and I am currently serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Madagascar. You can check out some of the work I have been doing at http://www.aroundtheblockwithjenni.com. For the past several months not only have I been teaching english in the community of Sahambavy in rural Madagascar but I have also been working with key community leaders on developing key leadership skills to continue to educate the rest of their community by creating educational community gatherings on several topics including: healthy nutrition, empowering women, youth empowerment, healthy relationships etc. The community has expressed interest in a laptop and projector to help better facilitates these sessions to larger groups via video screenings and powerpoint presentations. The laptop and projector will also serve as a good fundraising tool for future community events such as movie screenings, and educational segments. Would anyone here happen to have a working laptop and decent projector that they no longer use or are willing to donate to this lovely community?
