Hello,
My name is David Gonzalez, and my fiancée , Melissa, and I are interested in renting out a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in the $1600 range long-term. We work for Youth with a Mission (YWAM) Boston as long term missionary. We are committed to serving with YWAM Boston for at least the next year and are looking for a place to call home in the area.
Our non-profit organization Youth With a Mission (YWAM), is a global missions movement with over 1,100 campuses based around the world. We have been a part of YWAM since 2018 and recently joined the Boston location in September 2021 . This organization works primarily with universities and high schools students nationally and internationally. We send teams overseas to the Middle East and South America to help and serve at schools and churches. My fiancée, colleagues and I have found it important to extend hope and love to a world that so desperately needs it. We accomplish this by working and partnering with schools and church’s in the area to build relationships with middle and high school students all throughout New England to make a positive impact. The goal in running our programs and camps is to represent Jesus to a whole generation and inspire young people to live a life-style of faith, love, and action.
I lead our visual art elective in our main training school that runs throughout the year in Somerville (and have an online resell shop on the side), while Melissa is the director of our Youth ministry and helps teach in our schools dance elective. We run a youth camp program every year in the summer as well as programs throughout the year for middle to high school students. Our offices are located in Somerville, right on Broadway.
Our organization is a volunteer based ministry and we are fully funded through monthly financial partners who want to see the same change in the world as we do. Our donors financially support us through giving to our ministry as well as giving directly to us.
As leaders in the organization, my fiancée and I have been searching for an apartment, to establish our first home together while serving with Ywam Boston. My fiancée and I do not drink or smoke, nor does anyone who works for our organization. We are very neat and like to have a clean, organized living-space. We are peaceful and are very kind to neighbors.
