Looking for part-time sonographer to perform ultrasounds on pregnant women

Job Description:

Qualifications:
1. Agrees with the Center’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith and Statement of Principle.
2. Has MA board certification to practice as a nurse with the MA Board of Registration in nursing and/or has an Associate’s degree in sonography or related field.
3. CPR/BLS certified.
4. 1 year direct patient care experience.
5. Preferably certified in obstetrics and gynecology or have experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
6. Be certified or have 2 years of experience in the performance of diagnostic obstetrical ultrasounds.
7. Complies with professional standards and practice management.
8. Compliant with HIPAA guidelines and respects client/patient confidentiality.
9. Exhibit strong interpersonal and administrative skills.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Provide ultrasounds, physical exams and pregnancy testing for patients.
Sends ultrasound reports to physician for review.
2. Document clinical findings, observations, assessment and treatment in the
Patients medical record.
3. Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements.
4. Assist with recruitment and selection of other medical staff as needed.
5. Provide supervision, review and development of medical services staff as needed.
6. Ensure that medical personnel in office adhere to professional standards of care and state/federal regulations.
7. Oversee the proper and confidential maintenance of patient records.
8. Works to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
9. Ensures Compliance with OSHA infection control guidelines.
