Looking for Female Roommate Starting September 2020
Location: North Dorchester – JFK/Savin Hill. 7 minute walk from JFK/Umass Red Line Stop
$750/month per person including Heat, Electricity, DirecTV, and FIOS Internet

We’re a group of Christian women living together in a Christian community home in North Dorchester (3 apartments), and we’re looking for a new person who wants to join us at the start of September.

The 3 family house has 12 people in it who live in three separate apartments and connect on a weekly basis. There are 4 guys in the first floor apartment, 4 women in the second floor apartment, and a married couple with their 2 small children on the third floor.

Each apartment has its own:
Kitchen
4 bedrooms
Living room
Bathroom
Washer/dryer in unit
Back porch
(With additional access to a backyard and to basement storage space)

Our floor operates pretty much like any other apartment. We each have our own room, do our own grocery shopping, and share the chores to keep the place clean. However, there are a few ways in which we as an apartment and a whole house connect with each other (happening virtually only during spring 2020)
-As a house, we have dinner together once a week (on Sunday nights) and take turns cooking (you’ll cook with a partner about once every 7-8 weeks).
-Additionally, we try to meet as a floor about once every two weeks to catch up on each other’s lives
-We try to keep each other in the loop for social events and group hangouts. The house is often a place for people from each of our separate communities to come together to watch football or enjoy a barbecue.

No need to worry, there is plenty of space for downtime too; we have a good range of introverts and extroverts! As much as we love connecting with others, we also value giving everyone as much space as they need to rest and thrive .

Rent: $750/month per person which includes utilities, high speed internet, and cable.

Parking: There is on-street parking right in front of the building, and it’s usually not very difficult to find a spot.

Location:
We are at the corner of Dorchester Avenue and Sudan Street in North Dorchester which is:
Approximately a 7-minute walk to either JFK-UMASS T Station or Savin Hill T Station (Both on the red line)
A 3-minute drive to I-93 (Exit 15)
A 15-minute walk to 2 beaches (Carson Beach and Malibu Beach) – both awesome in the spring/summer

Apartment Amenities:
Kitchen has granite countertops, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, microwave, fridge
In-unit washer and dryer
Back porch access
Back yard access
Basement storage as an option

I am a Christian flight attendant working for Jetblue and would love to be living with other Christians and spending time in fellowship together.
