Part-time (10-20 hours per week in any given week, 12-15 hours per week average)

The position provides a flexible working environment and hours for a creative problem-solver with a passion for the mission of equipping young professionals to serve God and neighbor in the working world.
Reports to the Executive Director weekly to receive assignments and assess progress.
Administrative projects vary widely, and may include website maintenance, correspondence, phone-based tasks, processing or editing documents and spreadsheets, handling academic materials, photography of activities, posting to social media, word processing and editing, and many other activities required for program operation.
Bookkeeping responsibilities include maintaining records on QuickBooks, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, cash projections, account reconciliation, and assisting in annual budget preparation and periodic grant applications.
Most responsibilities can be accomplished remotely/virtually.
After receiving an assignment, must be available to work on it within 24 hours, for at least 2 hours per day, for an indefinite succession of days. (In other words, you can work at least 2 hours/day as requested, regardless of your other responsibilities, except by prior agreement.)
Must be available—if needed, given one-week advance notice—for in-person administrative assistance at events on almost all these dates in 2016-2017:

– History of consistent personal spiritual practices (significant daily time in Bible and prayer, keeping short accounts with God and neighbor).
– Impeccable personal integrity.
– Strong planning and organizational skills.
– Personal computer with basic office software and constant internet access; smartphone.
– Demonstrated competency in QuickBooks.
– 3+ years experience bookkeeping.
– 2+ years experience as an admin/exec assistant, or in a related role.
– Flexibility and emotional resilience.
– Initiative, ability to work well alone, virtually and remotely, compulsion to meet deadlines.
– Digital indigeneity and proficiency in (or the ability to learn quickly) web-based software, specifically: Google Apps (Mail, Drive, Calendar, Picasa or other basic image editing), Squarespace, Mailchimp, MS Access, social media platforms, etc.
– Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills (web content, newsletters, presentations, email, phone skills, etc.)
– Strong people skills.
– Competence in basic photography, videography and editing, using smartphones, or cameras.Compensation based on experience, with opportunity for performance-based increases.
