Stories from the Front: Missional Responses to COVID-19 in Boston

April 28, 2020 from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Free – $10

The coronavirus has presented a unique missional opportunity to be the loving embrace of God to our neighbors. UniteBoston has been reaching out to Christian leaders in Boston to see how they are doing and to listen for the “good news stories” that are emerging.

In this webinar, we will feature the stories of four church leaders who will be sharing how their church is caring for the body of Christ and missionally engaging, despite tight restrictions. Join us to hear real stories from church pastors and leaders from the front, followed by Q & A.

Panelists include:
– Ray & Gloria Hammond (Bethel AME Church) on missional opportunities based on their work with the Boston COVID-19 Health Inequities Task Force
– Chris Hall (Reunion Christian Church) on their network’s launch of a variety of online communities
– David Wright (People’s Baptist Church) on churches using technology as a tool for mission and innovation
– Kimberly Morrison (Park Street Church) on the launch of a variety of teams with project managers to address tangible needs arising with the coronavirus

$10 suggested donation; 50% of all proceeds will be donated to an organization serving tangible needs in our community with COVID-19. Limited to the first 100 participants. Registration via Eventbrite required – click here to register!
