Come learn from those on the frontlines of church planting in New England and beyond at the New England Church Planting Conference! Whether you are just exploring church planting or are serving on a church a planting team, this conference, on November 9, will provide a great opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.

All main sessions will be TED talk style and will be followed up with table discussions. Breakouts will further explore specific topics related to church planting in the New England context and allow for collaboration with local leaders and other conference attendees.

Main sessions include:

-“Why Church?” – Dr. Scott Sunquist – President of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, author of Why Church?, Understanding Christian Mission, and other books; he helped plant churches in Singapore and in Pasedena, California.

-“Planting Among the Poor and Marginalized” – Morgan Proudfoot, Planter/Pastor, Grace Harbor Church New Bedford, MA.

-“Empowering Women in Church Plants” – Amy Castello, Planter/Pastor’s wife, City on a Hill Church Forest Hills, Boston, MA.; Spouse Care Advocate, Send Boston Network

-“Keeping Evangelism in Focus in Church Planting” – Sean Sears, Planter/Pastor, Grace Church, Avon, MA.

-“Partnering to Serve the Community” – Josh Wyatt, Planter/Pastor, Charles River Church, Boston, MA.

-“Engaging the City” – James Roberson, Planter/Pastor of The Bridge Church, Brooklyn, NY.

Breakouts will include:

-“Church Planting in a Post-Christian Culture” – Dr. Erin Crider – Adjunct professor of biblical studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary

-“How community restoration can lead to starting a community of faith.” – John Ames – Director, Boston Send Relief Center

-“Planting Churches in Rural Place for God’s Glory” – David Pinckney – Missions Pastor, River of Grace, Concord, NH; Rural Church Planting Strategist.

-Women’s Panel – led by Amy Castello
