Nurturing Relational Connections Across Boston's Christian Community
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until April 4, 2017
This unique workshop was developed and launched in February of 2009 by the three founding churches working in partnership to meet a growing demand for helping those who had lost their jobs. The content is a collection of excerpts from bestselling books, best practices from experts, personal experiences, participant examples and ministry materials. This workshop is free and open to the public.
As each of our facilitators has a unique perspective on job searching, you benefit by hearing their different practical experiences. Our team is comprised of professionals who have personally experienced job loss and transitions and/or has been part of recruitment and hiring of many individuals.
The Job Search Workshop will address different views of work and life, beginning the job search, finding the job that fits, networking, writing résumés, LinkedIn, interviewing, the StrengthsFinder 2.0 Assessment, and leveraging the free resources at the State Career Centers and government websites. This three-part learning event is for anyone interested in gaining fresh, relevant work search skills, and open to learning in a Christian context.
