How Can Congregations and Groups Support Their New Neighbors

July 24 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free
We know that the people of faith’s hearts have been moved by the increased number of new migrants and the lack of available housing across Massachusetts. And we’ve seen people of faith step up in profound and powerful ways.
There are multiple ways for people to support their new neighbors. If your congregation can act now, there is a great opportunity for additional financial support with a federal program with a July 31 deadline to register for additional funding.
Guest Speakers Include:
  • Welcome NST Director of Outreach Kasey Dillon
  • Jewish Family Services of MetroWest Executive Director Lino Covarrubias
  • Jessica Lasser, member of Temple Beth Elohim, Wellesley, who has been part of Welcome Corp
This is a unique chance to play a role in helping new neighbors as they build their lives in our community. This event is perfect for community and religious leaders, advocates for social justice, and anyone passionate about fostering inclusivity and support for refugees. Please share this invitation with your network and encourage others to join us! We look forward to making a positive impact together.
