Nurturing Relational Connections Across Boston's Christian Community
Join us for a special Easter Vigil service downtown, in spacious Converse Hall. Hosted annually by Church of the Cross since 2011, this marks the apex of the Christian calendar, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. This profound service, a liturgical symphony of light, word, water, and communion, embodies the Christian journey from death to life, from darkness to light. It is a night to encounter the living God, who calls us out of the tomb and into the splendor of the resurrection. Whether you’re new to the tradition or it’s a cherished part of your year, we invite you to become part of this night when sorrow turns to joy, and despair gives way to hope.
Weather Permitting: meet at Brewer Fountain on the Boston Common at 8 PM , (Park Street T stop) where we will be led in procession to Converse Hall (6-minute walk) . Inclement Weather: meet directly at Converse Hall, 8 PM.
