All over our city there are nonprofit and houses of worship that are creating communities of belonging for immigrants. Those individuals who lead this effort often go under-appreciated and underpaid. Immigrant Connection at Awaken City along with the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Advancement will be hosting an appreciation party for these leaders to thank them for their incredible service.
