Nurturing Relational Connections Across Boston's Christian Community
We wanted to let you know about a special event that will happen on Saturday, October 5. We will host a nationally broadcasted conference, Common Good 2019: A Church for Monday. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time at both the Hamilton and Boston campuses of Gordon- Conwell Theological Seminary.
This conference is designed for anyone who wants to connect faith in Christ to the work they do everyday, whether paid or unpaid. In other words, I believe this conference is for each of you and others in your church community!
The conference will address themes like:
· How can I understand a sense of God’s calling wherever I work?
· How do I follow Jesus at work in a post-Christian culture?
· How can we as the church multiply opportunity for all (especially the vulnerable)?
· How do we be champions of human dignity in our work?
· How can the church be a faithful presence in our communities?
The speakers include a mix of pastors (Bryan Loritts, Larry Osborne, Tom Nelson), business leaders and entrepreneurs (Helen Hayes, Thomas Kim, Winnette Mcintosh, Robin John), and scholars (Karen Ellis).
Tickets are $59. You can register here.
We hope to see you there!
