Nurturing Relational Connections Across Boston's Christian Community
WHAT IS IT?
The Collegiate Day of Prayer (CDOP) is a unified day of prayer for colleges and universities—hundreds of students, professors, parents, and churches are involved every year.
WHERE?
Prayer and worship gatherings are taking place all over the States, and the Boston gathering will be hosted at Church of the Cross at 105 Jersey St., Boston, MA 02215—right in the heart of the Fenway.
WHEN?
Thursday—28 February 2019—8:00pm-9:30pm.
WHO SHOULD COME?
YOU—and any other students and professors and campus fellowships and parents and pastors and churches and others who want to pray for colleges and universities in Boston and New England.
WHO IS HOSTING THE GATHERING?
Well, that’s a fun story… four campus ministers (Sherami Hinders with InterVarsity, Ryan Ruffing with CCO, Liz Kealy with CRU, and Trent Sheppard with Alpha) got together at Northeastern University a few days ago to talk and pray about something called EveryCampus—and in the middle of our conversation we realized the CDOP was just around the corner… and that would be the perfect time to conspire in prayer together with a load of friends about what God is up to in Boston and beyond!
WHY SHOULD I TAKE TIME TO DO THIS?
Because we believe King Jesus is up to something brave and beautiful on campuses right now, and we think it’d bring joy to God’s heart if we conspire in prayer together… like that passage in John 17:20-23 says 🙂
So what do you think? Can you join us February 28? And can you help us spread the word? We sure do hope so!
The best way to RSVP (so we can plan well) is by letting us know at the CDOP/EveryCampus Boston Facebook event page.
Hope to see you on February 28 at 8pm!
