CANCELLED – A Pathway to Citizenship: The Role of the Community

April 27, 2021 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Update from A Faith That Does Justice:

We regret to inform you that this week’s Community Meeting, A Pathway to Citizenship: The Role of the Community, has been canceled. We thank you for your assistance with publicity for this meeting and we look forward to our next series of Community Meetings beginning again in the fall.

Our commitment to educating the faith community about social justice issues and encouraging a life of faith in action remains strong. We are grateful for your shared dedication to this goal.

Join A Faith That Does Justice for a discussion about the challenges facing immigrants in the United States and the current proposed legislation to create pathways to citizenship. Learn how you can support the immigrant community. We are pleased to welcome immigration experts to the conversation:
• Iván Espinoza-Madrigal, Executive Director, Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR)
• Eva Millona, President and Chief Executive Officer, Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA)
• Peter Gyves, SJ, MD, Founder of A Faith That Does Justice (moderator)
