Learn about the man who dedicated his life to reconciling the different Christian denominations by living in prayerful community\, and see the appeal of his “pilgrimage of trust on earth” to youth.\n\n\n\n\n10 a.m.  Pentecost Festival Eucharist in the style of Taizé. Please enter in silence before this very special service\, led by Trinity’s youth.\n\n\n\n11:15 a.m.  Brunch!  All are welcome to gather in the Commons and Forum for a brunch hosted by Youth Ministries.

DESCRIPTION:The Spirit “speaks” for the risen Christ in many ways using enticement and surprise\, as well as stealth and the seemingly mundane. How do the patterns and practices of word and sacrament help us claim and live more fully the scripture of our own lives in a frantic and fractured world? \nThe Rt. Rev. Frank Griswold\, former Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church (1998-2006)\, will lead us in an exploration of these questions. Since his term as Presiding Bishop\, he has continued a ministry of teaching\, preaching\, writing\, lecturing and leading retreats\, nationally and internationally. His books include Going Home: An Invitation to Jubilee and Praying our Days: A Guide and Companion. \nBishop Griswold’s talk is part of the Price Lecture series.

DESCRIPTION:Hear the stories behind Trinity Church’s Oudinot windows (upper south wall) from Dr. Virginia Raguin\, Professor of Art History and expert on religious art and stained glass of the Middle Ages and 19th Century\, from the College of the Holy Cross. The prestigious stained glass studio of Eugène Oudinot made these windows for Trinity Church Boston\, as well as Holy Trinity of Paris\, in the Renaissance Revival styles of windows he restored in the Royal Chapel in the Château of Vincennes.
