SUMMARY:Understanding and Claiming Post-Traumatic Healing - RPC Cory Johnson Trauma Program
DESCRIPTION:Please join Rev. Liz Walker and others from the Roxbury Presbyterian Church Cory Johnson Program for Post-Traumatic Healing as we learn more about the impacts of trauma and how we can connect with and claim the healing wisdom within us.  Current mental health understanding for trauma recovery will be presented along with how the healing process is essentially a spiritual one. Please join us for dinner at 6 pm and the evening will continue with a presentation and ample time for discussion and sharing.  Child care is provided. There is no fee and all you need to do is come and join us!

DESCRIPTION:You are invited to “CAN WE TALK?” \, a monthly conversation around trauma & loss\, Thursday 3/30/17 starting with dinner at 6 pm and then moving into the conversation at 6:45.   \nThis is for everyone and anyone who is struggling with loss\, trauma\, and/or grief. This evening will hopefully offer safe space and connection within community.  There is no charge – and we start with dinner.  There is even childcare available. \nThere is NO requirement to share\, but if someone chooses to share\, they speak for 3-5 minutes.  We also have artistic expression throughout the evening which includes music and dance. \nPlease consider coming and share this invitation with anyone you think might benefit. Everyone is welcome – all you need to do is show up!
